Our Stars
Meet the Team
A team of farmers, educators, designers, professionals and volunteers bringing together practical sustainability, community service and a deep respect for nature.
Harmony in Diversity
Each member brings a different strength to the work — from farm management and natural farming to communications, education, program coordination and community outreach.
A thriving ecosystem is never built by one element alone. It grows when many different strengths work together in harmony.
Together, our team brings many different journeys to the same purpose — caring for the land, learning from nature, and sharing practical ways to live more sustainably. Each person contributes a unique strength, from farming and teaching to design, communication, coordination and community building. This diversity is what helps the Art of Living Permaculture vision grow with depth, warmth and impact.

Mannat Taneja

She left her corporate career to travel, learn, and volunteer across India, ultimately becoming a Yoga Wellness Coach.
Driven by a lifelong commitment to contributing to society and caring for the planet, she brings her creative roots to Art of Living Permaculture, managing the social media, editing videos, and looking after the quarterly "Spirit of the Soil" program.

Learning from the land, and sharing it forward.
Permaculture begins with observation. The land teaches us how water moves, how soil comes alive, how plants support one another, and how abundance grows when we work with nature rather than against it. Every season, every crop, and every challenge becomes part of the learning.
At Art of Living Permaculture, this learning is shared forward through courses, farm experiences, volunteering, and community initiatives. Our intention is simple: to help more people reconnect with the earth, grow food with awareness, and bring sustainable practices into everyday life.
Rooted in Practice. Growing Through Service.

Amaninder Nagra
After nine successful years in corporate banking, Amaninder chose a different path, becoming an Art of Living teacher in 2014. Since then, she has shared the practices of Yoga, Meditation, and Sudarshan Kriya with diverse groups in communities across India, Myanmar, and Singapore.
In 2024, Amaninder returned to her roots in Punjab to transition into full-time farming and permaculture. Today, she manages a thriving, sustainable three-acre farm while actively empowering local rural women by creating sustainable livelihood opportunities through self-help groups.
She helps organizing events, documenting stories of regeneration, and teaching and assisting with the Foundations of Permaculture Program.

Shilpa Kota

When she realized the conventional education system didn't align with her vision for her daughter, she consciously left the corporate track to focus on homeschooling.
This path led her straight to the soil. Today, she manages the "ism Family Farm" outside Pune. Her farm is a permaculture haven built on the twin pillars of alternative education and ecological sustainability.
Shilpa brings her incredible organizational talents to the Art of Living Permaculture where she manages external communications and helps shape the growth of the internship program.

Growing Together, One Step at a Time
Permaculture is a way of seeing life where every action has an effect, and every person can contribute to a healthier, more balanced world.
At Art of Living Permaculture, our work is to make this wisdom practical and accessible. Through our farms, courses, volunteers, and community initiatives, we hope to inspire people to reconnect with the land and bring sustainable choices into their everyday lives.
As more people learn, practice, and share, we grow the movement naturally. Exactly like a living ecosystem. We remain rooted in awareness and carried forward by many hands.
